Michael Mak, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Michael Mak is the founder of Asia Global Holdings Corporation and the
founding member of a management team that has generated $150 million in
revenue each year for the last 3 years. Michael foundered Asia Global
Holdings' parent company -- Stanford International Holding Corporation,
an eCommerce and direct marketing firm, in 1999 and BonusAmerica Worldwide
Corporation (now Asia Global Holdings Corporation), an OTCBB listed company,
in 2002. He started his business career at Berlin & Company (Hong
Kong), a finance company, in 1963 as a foreign exchange dealer. He was
promoted to Associate Partner in 1972. He managed the organization until
1985 when he immigrated to the USA. Prior to founding Asia Global Holdings
Corp and SIHC Michael founded and managed companies involved in product
design and development, manufacturing, importing and wholesaling. He created
many consumer brands including the Charles-Hubert Paris brand of leather
goods and watches, GRAB handbags, BodyEQ skin care & beauty brand,
Dingbats timepieces, and CuraLife health and nutritional products. Michael’s
companies have developed numerous widely distributed consumer products
many of which are being sold by the largest retailers in the world.
John Leper, Director and Secretary
John Leper is our Secretary, Director and company Vice President contributing
in the areas of marketing, business development, corporate planning and
strategy. From May 2001 to September 2003, Mr. Leper served as the Chief
Marketing Officer and Strategist for Stanford International Holding Corporation,
our parent company. John was a founding start-up manager of a US based
direct marketing company with yearly revenues now well over US$200 million.
Possessing strong creative marketing skills, uncanny vision and the management
ability and experience to turn concepts into profitable realities, John
has been a very early mover in numerous major industries including online
marketing, television home shopping, direct marketing, digital media &
entertainment and now US-China business ventures. John was the Executive
Producer and executive manager of “Lets Go Shopping” the pioneering
TV shopping show in the 80s which was well ahead of the multibillion dollar
TV home shopping market curve. In 1995 John founded and published “Listen
to the Music” the world's first new media/multimedia music magazine.
John is based in Los Angeles and handles matters related to marketing,
positioning, media, strategic planning, alliances and growth funding.
